Living a Wild Succulent Life!

I know you say you want to be successful, you want the freedom, the time and the money that goes with it right?  I even get that you even work towards it at a pace that no one could really keep up to, in fact I see it all around me… and truth is I see it in the mirror every day staring right back at me..

Recently through an illness, I was actually forced to sit still in order to heal… but there is more…. I have learned one of the most valuable lessons of my entire 46 years on this planet.  I learned to hear, no not listen, really hear!

I had to have my ears packed so that I may heal and horrible infection in both and the result was that it made me deaf… What a blessing this turned out to be!  For the first time in my life, yes the first time I learned what it is to really hear….. It is utterly amazing what you hear when you can’t “hear” a thing on the outside…… How lovely the silence of the outside world constantly droning in with noise, thought interruptions and useless provocations to your beautiful visions.

I know now that most of us, well ok me…. walk around every day with wonderful thoughts and visions in our minds and then get interrupted with others ideas, thoughts and literally white noise that disrupts the internal path you know is right for you to follow.  They become doubts in our minds that stop us from doing what we know is right,  we manifest them into fears of “am I doing right thing, oh I can’t do that, I don’t deserve this or that” and much more then this.  We become worried or caught up in what others think of us or have said about us…. what we hear them saying anyway…..

Instead of living our potential, our visions and manifesting what could be… imagine- what would be if you allow no other interruptions to change your course!  This week, I have manifested 4 amazing things that I truly don’t think I would have listened to if  had my hearing.   

Do you dream of Wild Succulent Success?  Even the words conjur up juicy excitement, joy and visions of a life well lived!  I want for you to share in this joy, to share the feeling of being in your vision, of being able to hear what you really want, who you really are and how to discover your path to your own Wildly Juicy Succulent Success! 

Be still, put in industrial ear plugs and listen….. listen intently until you hear……….. I mean beyond the superficial stuff… hear what you are thinking – even down to the words of a song going on over and over in your head…. what is the significance of it, write it down, don’t spend too much time trying to figure it out,  just be with it…

This is my gift to you…. enjoy your silence and really hear what is going on inside you – your path to your own Wild Succulent Success awaits you!  Make every day a POWErful one!

Every single day of our lives we have the opportunity to create a new beginning to whatever we wish.  If one truly understands this, it is a tremendously powerful gift you have been given with two different outcomes possible.  On one hand you can create a path you desire or be stuck in a path you believe you have no choice but to follow.

Many people talk a good game, saying they are aware of  their ownership in their path, yet every single day they either say or think they have no choice in some particular matter.  Whether you think it or say it you are creating that reality in your life.  Understanding the concept in its truest form can set you free!  The truth is that we have a choice in every single thing we do and it is up to us to create the life of our desires. 

Once we have decided the choice is ours, things start to look different – we view everything through different lenses and life becomes exactly as we wish it to be….   Joy, harmony and ease becomes an every day reality… how amazing would that be? 

Living in a space of ease where your life flows exactly as you wish it to be allows you to enjoy harmony in your world, joy in your heart and peace in your mind.  This is where appreciation lives in abundance right?  It is correct to a point… Appreciation lives within us even when life isn’t exactly as you wish it to be! 

Appreciation lives in the small mistakes that lead to lessons that you learn so that next time you will not repeat them, in the big ones that lead to more drastic change in your life and in the missed opportunities because of a choice you made.  Every single incident becomes a lesson with an opportunity attached for change of choice.   So in reality those choices you made that created the outcome you didn’t desire are not really mistakes are they?  They are an opportunity that leads to you to a new choice – one that offers a brand new outcome - the one possible mirror to that outcome you so desire!

Being in a constant state of appreciation allows us to be in a place of ease and with ease comes joy, harmony and peace and of course abundance follows.  Appreciate every day with your mind and feel grateful with your heart for every single lesson you learn, mistake you make as well as the joy you have created!

“Don’t worry, it will all work out…”

The Power of Women United

I stopped in at my local gas station last week for a fill up and while there I also purchased a lottery ticket, something I rarely do. The attendant took a glance at my ticket and enthusiastically proclaimed, “These are very lucky numbers!”. I laughed and continued on with my day but noted his name on his badge, which was Amin.

That interaction stood out in my mind as it was a moment in my day that appeared a bit of the ordinary. It’s those out of the ordinary experiences in life that can be so powerful. A benign stop at the gas station and unusual exchange with the attendant. I can’t say I’ve had such friendly and enthusiastic exchanges at the gas station too often.

I was inspired enough to go home and look up the meaning of the name “Amin” which is honest, faithful and trustworthy. Interesting.
Now I didn’t win the lottery but I went back today to fill up again and was greeted by Amin as I went to pay. I’m sure he didn’t recognize me but as I approached the counter, I could hear he was listening to the radio. He said to me as I reached to pay, “we shouldn’t worry, it will all work out….that’s what they are talking about on the show today. What is going on in the world and that we shouldn’t worry so much”.

Just before I’d filled up with gas, I had been spending a bit too much mind time in worry about a few things and Amin’s wisdom brought me back to a key truth in life – that we needn’t worry, life does always work out. Beautifully. And perfectly. In due course.

Worry takes us away from what is really important in life and that is, enjoyment of the present moment. Don’t worry,it will all work out. And I’m happy to believe someone with the name “Amin” who tells me so.
